Product Description
Ball Screw Support Units are helpful supplements to your Ball Screw System. Our current Ball Screw Accessories include fixed and supported-side support bearing assemblies for light and heavy load applications. These ball screw support units provide useballscrew housing types4rs with the necessary components (i.e. bearing locknuts, snap rings, etc.) for mounting screw shafts to their machine.
Fixed-Side Support Units
The Fixed-Side Support Units are available in three series, EK, BK, and FK. These support units are compact in size and allow for easy installation. The fixed-side support units are the driven side of the support unit and are coupled to the motor using a coupling. These fixed-side support units come with a spacer and lock nut to secure the finished ball screw shaft to the support unit. All support units come with angular contact bearings or radial ball bearings (it depend from accuracy class) which are assembled with the correct preload and amount of lubrication.
Supported-Side Support Units
The Supported-Side Support Units are available in three series, EF, BF, and FF. These support units are compact in size and allow for easy installation. The supported-side (also referred to as floated side) support units come with a bearing and snap ring to securely mount the finished ball screw shaft to the support unit. (Note: The bearing is not fixed to a position inside the supported-side support unit).
