Unidirectional bearings, also known as overrunning clutches, are named according to their different industries and functions. The metal shell of a unidirectional bearing contains many rollers, needles, or balls, and the shape of its rolling seat (cavity) allows it to only roll in one direction, while producing significant resistance in the other direction (known as "unidirectional").
The solid unidirectional bearing uses GCr15 bearing steel, with a hardness of HRC61-65 after heat treatment. The bearing has a small volume and high load-bearing capacity, sufficient space for storing lubricating grease, and can have a longer lubrication interval.
